Moon Calendar – Thirteen Mothers

€30,00

Lunar calendar

The Moon Mandala is not our original idea, nor that the calendar can be 13 instead of 12 months long. The names of the months in the second edition are taken from the tradition of The 13 Original Clan Mothers, a book by Jamie Sams.

The mandala that begins on the new moon is a circle. What is life, if not constantly unscrewing this spiral that rules us? Once we are on top and sometimes we are at the bottom, we climb to fall – we fall to ascend to the heights. We walk in the circle of days and nights, the seasons and we follow the circles of our own femininity. We want to respect it so much. How to guess when high is coming and when is low? So we look at the calendar…

Thirteen Mothers

In this edition of the calendar, we were inspired by the wisdom of the 13 Original Clan Mothers  – a book of Jamie Sams.

The illustrations refer to the yoni, the symbol of life, the very beginning and the whole universe in one. Each yoni is of the color assigned to each Clan Mother and represents a step in getting to know truth and femininity.

On the lunar mandalas we have marked international days and holidays related to nature and human rights that are important to us.

The lunar months are not the same as the calendar months we are used to. The month in our calendar begins on the new moon at the bottom of the mandala. This is where the clockwise circular journey begins, these are the days of the waxing moon. At the very top there is the full moon – magic and witchcraft, and then of course the days of the waning moon. How to use the mandala? By marking events that are important to us, our cycles, moods, habits or even projects. Happy moments and others that brought us tears – after a few months you will find out that our life is very cyclical.

In the first month, the one who Talks With Relations, we discover our ability to know the truth. Her colour is orange.

The second month, of the Wisdom Keeper, brings with her the gift of respecting the truth. Her colour is grey.

The third month, of the one Who Weighs the Truth, teaches us to accept the truth. Her colour is brown.

The fourth, Looks Far Woman, makes us see the truth in its various guises, wears pastels.

The fifth month of the Listening Woman is (surprisingly) black. She brings the gift of listening to the truth.

The Sixth Moon of the Storyteller teaches how to speak the truth with humility. Her colour is red.

The seventh month of the Loves All Things teaches us how to love the truth in everything and how to love the truth that is in them. The color of this Mother is Yellow.

The eighth month is guided by She Who Heals. She brings talent to serve the truth; her colour is Blue.

The ninth month and Setting Sun Woman both bring the gift of experiencing the truth in the setting sun. She is Green.

The tenth month, She Who Weaves the Web, teaches how to BI with the truth. Pink.

The eleventh moon and the Walks Tall Woman strengthen us so that we can walk in truth acting according to our words. This month’s colour is White.

The twelfth month of the One Who Gives Praise teaches us to thank for the truth; she’s purple.

The Thirteenth New Moon and the One Who Becomes Her Vision brings the possibility of transformation, which is a long process. She is Crystal.

We would like it to become your daily companion for gaining female wisdom and living in truth.

Who is our lunar calendar for?

For anyone who wants to see their life through the prism of nature around us, the changing phases of the moon and moving stars. It is for everyone that appreciates the ability to clearly plan and record the most important events and habits during each month.

How to use the calendar?

Our Thirteen Mothers Calendar starts on the first new year of 2021, which is January 13.

It consists of thirteen cards that can be an addition to your current calendar, Bullet Journal, or a standalone calendar for the whole year. Following the phases of the moon will allow you to observe how they affect your life.

Each day is divided into 4 fields. 3 of them are small: you can choose what you want to observe about yourself with the help of the mini legend on the right side. Maybe you go on a walk every day? Have you read a few pages of the book? Maybe you write down how much water you drink? Did you make love today?

The fourth, larger space is a place to sum up the day – maybe in one word? Or to mark the most important event of the day.

The four phases of the moon

  1. New Moon – this is the beginning that brings with it a lot of positive energy, willingness to act and develop. This is a good time to plan something new. Just do it!
The first quarter – it’s time to focus on your plans. Give them as much attention as you can. You are going in the right direction!
  2. The first quarter – it’s time to focus on your plans. Give them as much attention as you can. You are going in the right direction!
  3. The Full Moon – this is the moment when the plan is realized and the goal is achieved. See how much you’ve achieved!
  4. The last quarter – it’s a moment to take a breath and rest after an intense period. It’s time to gather strength for new projects. Be ready!
